Lisa Starr of 5Starr Vizslas, where to begin? The experience we had with Lisa is one to remember for our lifetime. We were interested in adding a puppy to our family in the fall of 2023. Lisa was amazing during our interview and asked all the important questions to ensure that our family was a perfect fit for one of her superb puppies. We continued in contact throughout the months. She kept us updated on the pregnancy and the birth of the puppies. We found ourselves eagerly awaiting texts from her that contained photos of our soon to be new family member.

Eventually the time came to bring our new family member home. He was amazing! Very well behaved and very eager to please, even at 8 weeks old. Unfortunately, after a few weeks our family was dealing with health issues that led to the decision of returning our puppy back to Lisa so that we could focus on our health. Lisa was more than understanding and beyond supportive of our incredibly difficult decision. Throughout the next few months, we continued communication with Lisa and she invited us to spend time with the sweet boy we had brought home a few months ago. Small visits turned into lunch dates with the pup, which then turned into day dates at our home. All this to say that nearly a year later, to the date, we brought our sweet 1 year old Vizsla back into our home permanently.

The devotion she has towards every single one of her dogs is immeasurable. The best interest of the dog is always of the highest priority, but she genuinely cares about each of her adoptees as well. All her dogs are amazing, our sweet Louie is the best well-behaved 1 year old dogs that we have ever met. He is always gentle with our two toddlers, extremely smart with an eagerness to learn and please. We cannot express the amount of gratitude our family has for Lisa, her love, and her devotion to the Vizsla breed.
